Winemaking notes

The fermentation takes place in temperature controlled vats, followed by maceration on the skins with frequent pumpover and délestage. After malolactic fermentation and refinement in the tank, the wine is moved into oak barrels.

Exclusively sourced from our Montalcino estate, Greppone Mazzi. Elevations range from 210 to 460 meters. The soils, found on high and mid-hill terrain, exhibit a diverse texture from loamy clay to loamy silt, enriched with gravel.

36 months in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
