Produced in just 2,200 magnums, this special edition of Riserva Ducale Oro is the latest expression of ORObyRUFFINO, a journey that brings together art, conviviality, and fine wine under the banner of The Art of Connection. It is the second chapter of a limited-edition collection in which, each year, an artwork from the ORObyRUFFINO collection inspires a new interpretation of Riserva Ducale Oro.

This second release is dedicated to OMNES, the artwork conceived by Millim Studio. Inspired by the beauty of human connections and shared experiences, OMNES transforms the bottle into a work of art through sculptural brass elements that wrap around its shape like a piece of jewelry. Meaning “everybody” in Latin, OMNES celebrates conviviality as a meeting point for people, ideas, and cultures. Hand-finished with a satin brass effect, its sculptural forms create a symbolic embrace, turning the bottle into a distinctive design object that embodies the spirit of togetherness.

Winemaking notes

Careful grape selection during the harvest. The alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats for approximately 20 days, to softly extract all grapes potential. Sangiovese is aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks whereas Cab. Sauvignon and Merlot rest in seconde use barriques and tonneaux. Blended wine, then, is aged in concrete vats and at least 3 months in bottle.

The story

In 1927, the inaugural Riserva Ducale vintage was crafted as a homage to the wine-loving Duke of Aosta. Two decades later, in 1947, Ruffino commemorated the exceptional vintage by introducing the inaugural Riserva Ducale Oro, heralding the concept of Gran Selezione ahead of its time. Its potential for decades of aging is matched only by its historical significance.
Ultimate expression of ORObyRUFFINO project in which Ruffino fine wines meet design. Derived from the Latin word for «all», Omnes celebrates conviviality and the value of human connections. It brings together organic forms and brass details in a visual narrative of belonging, dialogue, and togetherness, expressing the essence of Ruffino’s philosophy.
