Introduced in 2026, it is Ruffino’s first Bolgheri Superiore, born from the vision of winemaker Olga Fusari. Produced at La Garzaia estate, the newest gem among Ruffino’s properties, this wine expresses the soul of the Bolgheri region with elegance and refinement, allowing each sip to reveal its unique and unmistakable identity.

A complex bouquet of Mediterranean scrub and ripe red fruits.

Tasting profile

Well-balanced, with fine structure and velvety tannins. Merlot lends softness and roundness, while Cabernet Franc provides structure, backbone, and aromatic complexity, resulting in perfect balance. The finish is long and persistent, inviting a second sip.

This wine triumphs with elegant Italian dishes full of flavor and rich in spices, hearty sauces and aged cheeses.

GRAPE VARIETIES

Cabernet Franc and Merlot

VINEYARD

The grapes come from Le Sondraie area, at the northern border of the Bolgheri appellation. The vineyards are located at 10 meters above sea level, on deep, well-structured, sandy-clay soils with low limestone content.

AGING

18 months in French oak barriques, with 70% new wood and 30% second-use barrels.
